MASERATI GRANCABRIO MC
Maserati’s GranTurismo Convertible (GranCabrio in Europe) has given a new life to the Fiat brand’s sales in the US, driving them up by 48 percent in the first 11 months of the year. According to a recent Automotive News article, the Trident carmaker sold a total of 1,717 vehicles in the U.S., including 558 of the four-seat convertibles since its introduction in March. he car is the 3rd model in the GranTurismo line-up, and is stocked with a 4.7 liter V8 engine that puts out 433 horsepower and 361 pound-feet of torque. It is linked to a 6-speed automatic transmission, rather than the rear-mounted, dual-clutch manu-matic gearbox used in other models. The GranCabrio can sprint from 0-60 mph in 5.2 seconds, and has a top speed of 176 mph.
